James “Tennessee Jim” Prentiss Daniels Sr., 68 of Clayton, IN passed away on June 5, 2016.  Jim was born on September 29, 1947 in Celina, Tennessee to the late John Daniels and Hazel Grogan.  Since 1963, Jim worked as an auto mechanic at his garage Jim’s Garage. During his past time he enjoyed old cars, motorcycles, horseback riding, camping, and sitting by the campfires.  Jim would go and visit his sister, Emma whenever he could.  What Jim enjoyed the most was spending time with his children and grand babies.

Jim is survived by his wife Paula; children Ashley, Anthony, TJ, Andrew, Natasha, Jamie, James Jr., Johnathan, Elizabeth, Victoria, Patricia, Angel, Sheila, Shenna, and Christina; 23 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Emma Jean, Dianne, Star, and Sharron; brother, Wayne; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bennie Reed.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2016, 1pm at Hazelwood Christian Church, 9947 S. County Road 0 Clayton, IN. Visitation will begin at 11am.  Burial will at Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield, IN.  Services will be conducted by Pastor Steve Ranson.  Family would like to thank Heartland Hospice for the care they provided Jim.
